Chess Motions Series

With the aim of studying and analyzing games of the great chess masters, this visual journey begins where movement is the central topic. Each stroke is a piece’s movement.
The movement, the time passed, and the velocity is portrayed in a single image, superimposing the information and making it possible to identify intentions and strategies of the players in form of geometric figures. The algebraic notation of the game is expressed in a color code.
It is a visual expression of mathematical relations, which in addition to celebrating the beauty of movement, creates new forms of understanding chess.
